Sobetsu Information Center “i”

Along with various fruits (Sobetsu Town’s specialties), such as strawberries, cherries, peaches, apples, grapes and pears, as well as original jams, this center provides information on the ecomuseum’s facilities and events as a core center of the ecomuseum. It also exhibits materials relating to Lake Toya, the volcanic activity of Mt. Usu and the history of Sobetsu Town, which is located amid such natural blessings, offering a place for learning.

About the “theme centers”

The Lake Toya Area Ecomuseum is categorized into three themed areas. Each area includes “theme centers” where visitors can get information on satellites facilities in the area.
